Al-Ghazi Tractors Invests PKR 2 Billion in Digital Transformation for Enhanced Efficiency

Pakistani agricultural equipment manufacturer Al-Ghazi Tractors is revving up for a digital transformation journey. The company, a subsidiary of UAE-based Al-Futtaim Group, is investing PKR 2 billion to overhaul its IT infrastructure and streamline its enterprise resource planning (ERP) processes.

This initiative marks a significant step forward for Al-Ghazi Tractors. The core of the transformation is the integration of SAP S/4HANA, a cutting-edge ERP software solution. Javed Iqbal, Acting CEO of Al-Ghazi Tractors, highlighted the benefits of the new system. “By integrating SAP’s core automotive modules, our teams will gain access to real-time data-driven reports,” he explained. “This will facilitate rapid and informed decision-making across the organization.”

The digital transformation extends beyond internal processes. Iqbal emphasized the impact on external stakeholders. “Once fully operational, the system will significantly transform our interactions with vendors, dealers, and other partners,” he said.

The software suite leverages a range of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning. This will empower Al-Ghazi Tractors to streamline its entire ERP process, enhancing efficiency and productivity.

The digital transformation project is planned to be completed within four years. The first phase, focusing on groundwork and initial implementation, has already begun and is expected to take ten months.

This significant investment by Al-Futtaim Group underlines their commitment to Al-Ghazi Tractors and the future of Pakistan’s agricultural sector. The digital transformation initiative aims to position Al-Ghazi Tractors for continued growth and success in the years to come.
