10Pearls University hosted Cloud Con 2023, Pakistan’s leading conference focused on cloud computing technologies. Held at their Karachi office, the event attracted a diverse audience, including industry leaders, tech professionals, students, and enthusiasts.
Cloud Con served as a platform to explore the various aspects of cloud technology and its impact on different industries. Cloud computing offers faster innovation cycles, flexible infrastructure, and cost-effective solutions, making it a crucial driver for businesses of all sizes.
Syed Sana Hussain, Senior Director of People and Programs at 10Pearls, emphasized the importance of the conference.
“Cloud Con aims to explore both the challenges and opportunities in cloud technologies,” he stated. “We want to equip startups and enterprises with the knowledge and tools to adopt and scale using cloud and DevOps principles, while also providing professionals with a platform to connect and explore career growth.”
Over 300 attendees participated in the conference, which featured a range of engaging sessions. Peter Hesse, EVP & Partner at 10Pearls, delivered a keynote address on ‘Securing Cloud Pipelines.’ His talk highlighted the importance of robust security measures in cloud environments, emphasizing how a secure cloud ecosystem is essential for business continuity and success.
The conference also offered sessions on AI-powered DevOps practices, strategies for leveraging cloud computing for business growth, and a panel discussion exploring the transformative power of cloud technology across various industries. The panel featured prominent tech professionals from companies like AWS, TPS Worldwide, and Master Works.
The conference concluded with a hands-on workshop led by Saad Ali, Senior DevOps Architect at 10Pearls. Titled “Mastering DevOps Efficiency with Cloud and AI,” the workshop provided participants with practical skills to leverage cloud and AI tools for optimized DevOps workflows.
Cloud Con 2023 was a successful collaboration between 10Pearls University, Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Karachi, and Karachi AI.
