10Pearls To Lead AI Native Insurance Session At PICG Conference In Karachi

The Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG), in collaboration with 10Pearls, is set to host Session 3 of its event focused on Pakistan insurance sector under the theme “How Insurance Companies Can Become AI Native.” The session will take place on August 5 at PC Hotel, Karachi, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will feature Ansar Muhammad, Vice President Engineering at 10Pearls, as the lead speaker. The discussion will explore how artificial intelligence is being integrated into insurance operations around the world and how insurers can apply these technologies to improve efficiency, decision making, and customer experience. The session is part of a broader programme examining the future direction of Pakistan insurance industry and the role emerging technologies can play in supporting its digital transformation.

According to the event organizers, insurance companies across global markets are already deploying artificial intelligence in production environments rather than limiting it to experimental projects. AI technologies are enabling claims to be processed within minutes instead of days, while underwriting submissions can be handled at a much larger scale with improved efficiency. Artificial intelligence is also helping insurers identify potential fraud much earlier in the claims lifecycle, reducing operational risks and strengthening customer trust. These practical applications are steadily changing how insurance carriers compete by improving service delivery, lowering operational costs, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The session will examine these developments and discuss how similar approaches can be adopted within insurance and Takaful organizations to strengthen business performance through practical AI implementation.

The session will be led by Ansar Muhammad, Vice President Engineering at 10Pearls, who brings three decades of experience in enterprise technology. Over recent years, his work has focused extensively on artificial intelligence and machine learning, including direct involvement in insurance and Takaful technology projects. In addition to working on enterprise AI initiatives, he has trained teams across the region on applying artificial intelligence in practical business environments. During the session, participants are expected to gain insights into how organizations can move beyond AI experimentation and adopt enterprise scale solutions that address operational challenges across underwriting, claims processing, fraud detection, and customer engagement. The discussion is intended to highlight practical implementation strategies supported by industry experience rather than focusing solely on theoretical concepts.

The event reflects the growing interest in artificial intelligence within the financial services sector as organizations continue to evaluate technologies that improve operational efficiency and support data driven decision making. By bringing together technology expertise from 10Pearls and the corporate governance perspective of PICG, the session aims to provide attendees with a better understanding of how AI can be integrated into insurance operations in a structured and practical manner. Scheduled to take place at PC Hotel, Karachi, the programme will offer professionals from the insurance industry an opportunity to engage with enterprise AI concepts, learn from real world implementation experience, and explore the role of artificial intelligence in shaping modern insurance and Takaful systems.
